The Dutchman has been on holiday following the Netherlands' run to third place at World Cup 2014 but is still set to be rested for their Premier League opener versus Swansea CityManchester United striker Robin van Persie has confirmed that he has returned to first-team training following his post-World Cup break.
The Dutchman was afforded a prolonged holiday due to his exploits for the Netherlands as they came third in World Cup, missing the club's tour of north America.
Meanwhile Louis van Gaal, his manager in Brazil and now at club level, claimed Van Persie is set to be rested for the Premier League opener against Swansea City, adding that he hoped the 30-year-old could get up to speed as quickly as possible.
