POLL RESULTS

Goal readers want Jurgen Klopp to replace David Moyes at Manchester United, according to the votes in our latest poll, but look set to be frustrated by the Borussia Dortmund boss.

Klopp has been identified as the No.1 choice to take over at Old Trafford after Moyes was sacked on Tuesday morning following a disappointing 10 months in charge.

And a whopping 72.3 per cent of the votes in our poll agree that the German is the right man to step in this summer.

But Klopp has since stated his commitment to Dortmund is "not breakable," leaving United likely to look elsewhere for their new boss.

Louis van Gaal is another name in the frame at Carrington and will be available after the World Cup, when his spell in charge of the Dutch national team officially comes to an end.

However, just 14.8% of readers who voted in our poll see the experienced 62-year-old as the first choice to become new United manager.

Meanwhile, 12.9% of readers believe the reigning Premier League champions should look elsewhere for a new appointment - perhaps club legend Ryan Giggs, who has been named interim boss until a successor is found.
