Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has limped out of the Reds' clash with Manchester City with an apparent hamstring injury.

The England international was withdrawn just after the hour mark after pulling up just after the visitors equalised through a Glen Johnson own goal, only for Liverpool to go on to win the crucial top-of-the-table clash.

Liverpool went on to win the game after Philippe Coutinho restored their lead 12 minutes from time, which Sturridge reappearing at the touchline before the full-time whiste.
