The Uruguayan has dominated English football for all the right reasons since returning from a 10-match ban for biting Branislav Ivanovic, scoring 19 goals in 12 games
The Premier League looks increasingly like child's play to Luis Suarez. Since returning from the 10-game ban he incurred for biting Branislav Ivanovic the Uruguayan has taken his game to a whole other level, scoring 19 goals in 12 matches to fire Liverpool to the top of the table. Cardiff City were merely the latest in an increasingly long list of victims powerless to do anything other than bear witness to his brilliance.

Such thoughts place Suarez in lofty company. The Premier League has been spoiled by greatness over the years, with the likes of Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo just three names which spring most readily to mind.
The announcement of a new four-and-a-half year contract on Friday raises the possibility of the Uruguayan gracing the self-styled 'Greatest League in the World' with his unique talents for many more matches to come.
It is a prospect which should fill Liverpool fans everywhere with unparalleled excitement, and defenders across England with considerable terror.
Does Suarez already merit comparison with the likes of Cantona, Henry, Ronaldo and the rest? Or does he need to do more? Perhaps only leading Liverpool to their first Premier League title will cement his greatness?
