Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has been released from hospital after suffering concussion during the club’s win against Arsenal on Sunday.
Vidic left the field shortly before the half-time whistle after he collided with United goalkeeper David de Gea.
The 32-year-old was sent to hospital for further treatment and received stitches for a facial injury.
A statement from United said: “Nemanja Vidic has been released from hospital after suffering concussion.”
Since Vidic has retired from international football since October 2011, the defender’s next chance for feature for United will be on November 24 when David Moyes’ side take on Cardiff.
