Whole Fulham team behind Jol, says Bent

The Dutch boss has faced increasing pressure after a series of poor results saw the Cottagers slip into the relegation zone, but the forward says he has the entire squad's backing
Martin Jol has the full backing of the entire Fulham squad, according to striker Darren Bent.

The Aston Villa loanee netted the only goal of the game as the west London club defeated Stoke City 1-0 at Craven Cottage on Saturday to secure their first league victory since the opening day of the season.

14/1 Fulham are 14/1 with BetVictor to beat Crystal Palace 2-0
Dutchman Jol had found himself under pressure after failing to beat West Brom and Cardiff City in their previous two home games, but Bent has no doubt that the 57-year-old is the right man to take the Cottagers forward.

"In this league you are always under pressure," Bent told reporters.

"As soon as a couple of results go against you, you are immediately under pressure because it is a results league.

"It is probably the best league in the world and is probably the most difficult to get points. For us to get three points with the situation that we are in is massive.

"All the players are behind him. He is the right man for the job and I am sure he will be around for many years to come.

"You can only turn that faith with results, we managed to get him three points. Now we have got a two-week gap and then another massive game against [Crystal] Palace."
