The Wales international scored two goals himself but credits the Gunners' resolve and their record signing after collecting their fifth consecutive win away at SunderlandAaron Ramsey hailed record signing Mesut Ozil's display after the pair starred in Arsenal's 3-1 away win over Sunderland on Saturday.
After arriving from Real Madrid on deadline day, the Germany international set up Olivier Giroud for the opening goal 11 minutes into his debut with an expertly weighted pass from the left flank.
Operating in the absence of fellow playmaker Santi Cazorla through injury, the 24-year-old went on to create more chances for Theo Walcott on the right flank and Ramsey believes that his new team-mate will continue to impress.

"I think he showed what he's all about [on Saturday] - slipping those little balls through. He has a wonder of a left foot. He caresses the ball and the passes seem to be of a perfect weight and right into people's strides."
Ramsey provided the winning goals for Arsenal, netting his fourth and fifth of the season after Craig Gardner had equalised after a penalty, and praised his side's resolve to recover from conceding just after half-time.
"We conceded a goal very early in the second half and the crowd were right behind them," he added.
"They were putting us under pressure with crosses into the box so we had to dig in and be patient but the goals came in the end and I thought we deserved it."
