Saints have signed Dejan Lovren, Victor Wanyama and Pablo Osvaldo, while Billy Sharp, Dean Hammond and Tadanari Lee are all available for transfer before the window closesSouthampton manager Mauricio Pochettino is happy with his new signings, but still has his eye on other targets.
The Argentinian has brought in three players for combined fees of more than £30 million ahead of the September 2 transfer deadline, and has indicated that the Premier League club's spending may not yet be complete.
Dejan Lovren and Victor Wanyama were both recruited ahead of the opening weekend in the Premier League, with club record signing Pablo Daniel Osvaldo arriving the day after their 1-0 victory over West Brom.
Pochettino is happy with make up of his squad, but confirmed he will look to make further additions if more targets became available.
"We’re pretty pleased with the players that we’ve brought in," the 41-year-old said.
"We’re not really looking that much, but we’re also keeping an eye on the market to see if anything arises, because different things could actually happen and we need to be able to react fast."
Pochettino also revealed several players are likely to leave St Mary's before the deadline, with Billy Sharp, Dean Hammond and Tadanari Lee all available for transfer.
"I was very clear at the beginning of pre-season I do not consider them part of the future of my plans for the club," he added.
"We’re trying to find solutions for them. They themselves are trying to look ahead for their futures, and the club is trying to find them an exit."
