James Milner continues on the right-hand side despite the impact made by Theo Walcott against Sweden, as the Arsenal winger has recovered from a hamstring scare but has to settle for a place on the bench.
A knee injury to talisman Andriy Shevchenko means Ukraine will be without their captain for the first time in the tournament. Andriy Voronin will also miss out as coach Oleg Blokhin puts his faith in Artem Milevskiy and Marko Devic.
There are two more changes to the Ukraine’s starting line-up from their defeat to France as Denys Garmash and Yaroslav Rakitskiy come into the side in place of Serhiy Nazarenko and Taras Mikhalik.
