Kaizer Chiefs have already started preparing for the worst, as they continue to play the 'wait-and-see' game on Knowledge Musona's situation.

Goal has been reliably informed that AmaKhosi are lining up an enticing bid for Bloemfontein Celtic striker Frank Gabadinho Mhango.

The 21-year-old forward started playing regular football at Celtic earlier this year, and scored some crucial goals for Ernst Middendorp's side.

Mhango established himself as one of the promising young talents in the PSL last term, and Chiefs are willing to help him grow as a player.

Goal understands that Siwelele are determined to hold on to their star, but could be tempted to do business with Chiefs should they be presented with a good offer.

Chiefs are short of options upfront with Bernard Parker out injured and Musona possibly returning to Europe after spending last season on loan.

They are yet to conclude Siphelele Mthembu's deal, although the player has already agreed to rejoin them from Platinum Stars.
