Amidaus Professionals relegated from the Ghana Premier League

The Tema side have lost their relegation status after losing 0-1 to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday

Amidaus Professionals are the first team in the FCP Premier League to suffer relegation ahead of the final round of matches this Wednesday.

The Tema side needed to beat Berekum Chelsea yesterday to boost their survival chances, but the 0-1 defeat condemned them to the second tier even before their final match against Bechem United.

Amidaus are making a return to the Ghana Division One League after just two seasons in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Their campaign this season has seen the management continuously tinkering with their technical direction as they finished the season with a third coach.

Two other relegation slots will be determined on Wednesday when the week 30 matches are cleared.

The other slots could be picked by any of the teams from the 5th to 15th spots on the league chart.

Now that Kotoko have been officially crowned champions after drawing 0-0 with Hearts of Oak yesterday, all the attention will be on the relegation battle this Wednesday.
