Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek are locked in a tussle to sign Ismaily’s Ghanaian striker John Antwi, Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal.

The free scoring forward has netted five goals in eight games this season and his fine form has caught the eyes of the two sides, who are eager to sign him.

Antwi, who scored 12 goals for Ismaily last season, has always been in contention for the top scorer’s gong in the Egyptian league since his move from Dreams FC two seasons ago.

The budding 21-year-old striker is already knocking on the doors of Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah as he seeks a chance to prove himself at international level.
