Manyama, who has seven Bafana Bafana caps signed a three and a half year deal with Matsatsanta after three years at Ajax Cape Town.
"The coach was a very big factor for me. He showed me from the beginning that he really wanted me,” he told the Ajax official website.
The 23-year-old chose last year's Nedbank Cup runners-up SuperSport United over reigning champions Kaizer Chiefs, after Ajax had agreed a transfer fee with both Chiefs and SuperSport.
“The team has some fantastic players in their ranks and I have admired their style of play for a while now. My main goal is to contribute positively to the success of the club," he added.
The Tembisa-born forward scored four goals in 14 PSL matches this season for Ajax, and will now compete with the likes of Thuso Phala, Sameehg Doutie and David Mathebula for a starting berth in the Matsatsantsa line-up.
