The midfield anchor has revealed that a knee injury affected him badly and that resulted in his no action at the Danish side this season
Ghana midfield enforcer Mohammed Abu has explained the reasons for his no show at Aarhus where he had a short loan stint from Manchester City.
The 22-year-old former Right to Dream Academy player failed to make a single appearance for the Danish Superlig side.
“I did surgery on my knee when I went to Aarhus and that was why I could not make an appearance for them in the league,” Abu revealed to Goal Ghana. “I am now looking to the New Year. I have some pretty offers and Aarhus is also another option as they can choose to renew my loan deal.”
The midfielder added: “I just want to play regularly in the coming year now that I am fit and look up to what may happen ahead of the World Cup.”
Abu played for Ghana at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea and has four caps so far.
