AmaKhosi are thought to be faking their happiness for Pirates' success to reach the Caf Champions League final, but Mukwevho says Chiefs fans are equally proud of Bucs

Pirates defied the odds and reached the final of the Caf Champions League where they lost 3-1 to Al Ahly on aggregate, and Mukwevho, who has been seen congratulating Pirates players at OR Tambo International Airport on several occasions, says they were 100 per cent behind Bucs.
"It's not true that we (Kaizer Chiefs fans) are jealous of them, because we are still going to play in the same competition next year," Mukwevho told Goal. "So, we are expecting them to return the favour by getting behind us next year," he said.
Mukwevho, who is also known as Mr Christmas, believes that had Pirates lifted the Caf title, they would have put PSL on the map.
"Had Pirates won that "Star", they wouldn't have won it for themselves, but for the entire South Africa. They would have put PSL on the map," he said.
With some Chiefs fans mocking and calling their arch-rivals all sorts of names for not beating Al Ahly, Mukwevho believes Pirates should be proud of themselves, but wants to see them give the same support to Chiefs next year.
"For Pirates to reach the final was a huge achievement and we are all proud. So, as a Chiefs fan I am urging them to come and show their support when we tackle other African countries in 2014," added Mukwevho.
