Ghana international Rabiu Mohammed is on the road to full recovery after an injury which saw him miss the Ghana-Egypt World Cup qualifier.
Rabiu, who plays for Russian side Kuban Krasnodar, got injured when playing for his club in the Europa League against Swiss side FC St. Gallen and was scheduled to be out of action for two months, but he has started light training and hopes to be back in full flight soon.
“I can tell you on authority that he has started training, he is recovering very fast,” a close source to the midfielder told the 90 Minutes.
“He will be back in full flight to continue where he left off, he can even start playing before the Egypt-Ghana game.”
The 23-year-old holding midfielder has been a revelation for the Black Stars over the last year and was warming himself into Krasnodar after making a summer three million dollars move before he got injured.
