Moroka Swallows captain Lefa Tsutsulupa has told Goal that he was delighted to hear that he has made 300 appearances in topflight football.

Tsutsulupa started his professional career with Bloemfontein Celtic 10 years ago, but says he wasn’t even counting the number of games he’s played.

“I wasn’t even counting. That’s how fun it has been for me during these years, but I am happy to reach this milestone and I am hoping to keep going,” Tsutsulupa told Goal.

The 33-year-old Tsutsulupa insists winning games has been his priority and he isn’t pushing for any silverware to decorate his 10-year professional career.

“I don’t want to put myself under pressure by demanding trophies this season. I think we have been playing well and winning games. So, that on its own is enough for me,” added Tsutsulupa.

The Ladybrand-born midfielder has also donned the Bafana jersey on several occasions, and he continues to be the heart of Moroka Swallows’ midfield.
