thumbnail Hello,

Pirates coach Roger de Sa has handed Aubrey Ngoma and Thamsanqa Gabuza their first starts while Daine Klate and Lucky Lekgwathi have been rested

Orlando Pirates have made several changes to their usual starting line-up to face Polokwane City in their second league game of the season at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday night.

Daine Klate has been rested for tonight's clash, as he has played in almost every game since last season and the former SuperSport United winger is expected to play a huge role in the next two games.

Lennox Bacela had to settle for a place on the bench and his place has been taken by Thamsanqa Gabuza who, like Aubrey Ngoma, gets his first start in the Pirates colours.

Siyabonga Sangweni returns to domestic football after spending six months on the sidelines, and he will partner Rooi Mahamutsa, as captain Lucky Lekgwathi has also been left out altogether.

Pirates starting line-up: Meyiwa, Jele, Phungwayo, Mahamutsa, Sangweni, Manyisa, Jali, Ngoma, Segolela, Erasmus and Gabuza.

Polokwane City starting line-up: Marumo, Tshilo, Molekwane, Lichaba, Mkhabela, Mdluli, Gopane, Molala, Kanyenda, Nzimande and Mncwango.
