I am still progressing, says Anderlecht’s Acheampong

The Ghanaian has admitted that he is on the progression line and needs more games to hit top form
Ghana young international Frank Acheampong has said he is still progressing and will need more playing time to hit his peak.

The 19-year-old winger has been an instant hit in the Belgian Jupiler League for giants Anderlecht and has scored two goals in two games for the senior team in the league.

“I want to continue to play and make progress. I hope the trainers continue to maintain confidence in me because it’s not always easy to continue to develop as a young player,” Acheampong told Voetballkrant.

“In training Brazilian goalkeeper Silvio Proto gives me directions on some things. He tells me that if there is space I should go and he will kick the ball to me, it has worked twice resulting in two goals for me in the league.”
