The in-form forward scored twice as his side defeated NEC by five goals to one away

Ghanaian-born former Dutch youth striker Fred Benson netted twice as Pec Zwolle humiliated NEC 5-1 away.

Benson netted Zwolle’s third and fourth goals with world class finish which drew the applauds of the fans after Jesper Drost has given them the lead.

South African midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo who was signed from Feyernoord this summer  tucked away his second goal for his new club to make it 4-1 before  Younes Mokhtar made it five in the 52-minute with the homeside scoring one.

The striker who was the club’s best player last season made way for Guyon Fernandes in the 63-minute.

He is still eligible to play for Ghana as he has only been capped at the Under-21 level by The Netherlands.
