The midfielder is optimistic the Chipolopolo will not have it easy in September when they clash with the Black Stars in the 2014 World Cup group decider
The AC Milan player told Fifa.com the Chipolopolo have given the four-time African champions a lot of headaches in recent times and it is about time the west Africans stamp their authority in the game.
Ghana, the group leaders with a point difference, will faceoff with the one-time African champions on September 6 in Kumasi.
Muntari, who was axed in the squad for the Turkey friendly on Wednesday, believes the hosts are well motivated to make it to the playoff phase.
“We want to go to Brazil and we are focused on qualifying. We are committed to that goal,” the left-footed midfielder said.
“We are ready for them this time. It will be a tough game and we will do our best to win. We are on top of the group, closer to Brazil, and we want to finish it in grand style.”
The former Inter player said: “They have troubled us for a long time, have given us sleepless nights. But we are ready for them and want to make it big this time. We are poised to plant broad smiles on the faces of Ghanaians in Kumasi.”
