The Ghanaian duo were impressive for Napredak as they recorded a 2-0 win over Jagodina in the season’s opener
Ghanaian youngsters, Abraham Akwasi Frimpong and Obeng Regan were instrumental as their side; Napredak Krusevac beat Serbian FA Cup holders, Jagodina 2-0.
Frimpong, 20 played in the holding midfield role whilst Regan,18 was also at his creative best.
“It was not easy but we won and that's the most important thing,” Frimpong told Goal Ghana.
Regan played for renowned Ghanaian soccer academy, Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord and the U20 side of Asante Kotoko before joining Napredak in 2011 whilst Frimpong has also featured for Italian side, Vicenza as well as Vojvodina Novi Sad.
