The junior Lions of Teranga will be doing without the Newcastle duo later this month in the London Games men’s football tournament
Senegal Under-23 coach Karim Sega Diouf has published his roster for the 2012 Olympic Games without Newcastle duo Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba after talks for their release between the Senegal football federation and Alan Pardew failed to come to fruition, the body said in a statement on Friday.
However, FC Copenhagen striker Dame N'Doye, West Ham United midfielder Mohamed Diame and Papa Gueye of Metalist Kharkiv have been included as the three senior players.
France-born Everton winger Magaye Gueye, who switched his international allegiance in favour of the country of his ancestry earlier this year, will be debuting with the U-23 outfit during the Games.
Senegal will open their campaign against hosts Great Britain in Manchester on July 26, before subsequently facing the two other members of Group A Uruguay and United Arab Emirates.
Senegal defeated Oman 2-0 in Coventry last April in an Inter-continental play-off to qualify for their first Olympic Games football tournament, joining Gabon, Morocco and Egypt as the four African representatives.
