Indonesian international Stefano Lilipaly will be the latest Southeast Asian star to play in Japan after the 24-year-old completed his move to J-League 2 club Consadole Sapporo.

The Dutch-born midfielder signed a short-term contract on March 26 and will play for his new club until January next year.

Lilipaly who was with Almere City in the Dutch second division is the second Indonesian to move to Japan after Irfan Bachdim who is with Ventforet Kofu in J-League 1.

"I'm proud that Consadole Sapporo are giving me a chance to play at a higher level in the J-League," said Lilipaly upon the completion of his move.
