An FAM Exco meeting is scheduled to take place on Sunday, where a decision will be made on Datuk K. Rajagopal's future with the national team
The Football Association of Malaysia have already confirmed that they will not be extending King Raja's contract, which expires on the 31st of December, though there has been discussions as to whether he should be allowed to manage until their final qualification match against Yemen in March.
Thus, his performance will be reviewed extensively and a decision is likely to be made on Sunday.
"Rajagopal's contract will finish on the 31st of December, there is still a month to go though we have no intentions of renewing his contract," FAM Secretary General Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin told Kosmo!
"However, we will be thoroughly going through his performance as the national team head coach on Sunday, and whether or not he gets to continue his duties until the game against Yemen, will be decided on that day."
The criticisms being directed towards King Raja has been amplified in recent days, especially after their defeat against Qatar, which officially ended their hopes of qualifying for the 2015 Asian Cup by merit.
With one final game left against Yemen, Malaysia currently sit on third spot in the group with four points.
