Zesh Rahman, the former Fulham and QPR player, is being linked with a move to Pahang for the 2014 Malaysian Super League season.
Zesh Rehman has had many rumours circling around him, stating that he may be the new import signing for Pahang, and that he will fill up the Asia spot in the team according to the rules set by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
However, according to Sinar Harian, secretary-general of Pahang Football Association (PBNP) Fuzzeimi Ibrahim stated that he is not in the loop regarding the rumours.
"So far there is no final decision yet," Fuzzeimi said.
"From my side, we do not know anything about it and I can’t make any further comments.
"We have to wait for the announcement from the President, Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah."
Reports also suggested that Kelantan’s Dickson Nwakaeme will travel to Pahang to replace Matias Conti, who may not be with the team next season.
However Fuzzeimi has asked that Pahang supporters be patient and wait for the final decision to be made soon.
