The former Balestier Khalsa player has revealed that he will be leaving the Thailand outfit after being allowed to run out his contract
Bangkok Glass defender Goran Subara is set to leave the club after the management decided against offering him a new contract.
The former S.League star had initially played for Balestier Khalsa before making the move to Bangkok Glass at the start of the year.
However, after only one season with the Thai side, Subara revealed that he would not be staying with Bangkok Glass after the domestic season in Thailand ends.
Subara made the revelation following Bangkok Glass's 3-1 loss to Buriram United in the Thailand FA Cup final.
Asked for his thoughts on the game, Subara initially expressed his disappointment with the referee’s performance but took the opportunity to reveal his departure from the club.
“I would like to thank all the BGFC (Bangkok Glass Football Club) supporters for their support throughout the 2013 season!” Subara added.
“Unfortunately I will not be staying at the club for the 2014 season, as the club has decided not to renew my contract. So I wish the club all the best in the future."
Subara had also turned out for Gombak United and Singapore Armed Forces FC (now Warriors FC) prior to his time at Balestier, where he was part of a formidable backline alongside Paul Cunningham.
