Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin has rejected all the harsh criticism directed towards Malaysia, and National Head Coach Datuk K.Rajagopal, due to their failure to defeat Thai club Chonburi FC.
In fact, Hamidin was full of praise for the national team for showing a very determined performance to record a draw.
According to Sinar Harian, Hamidin said: "I can see that players performed well last night and they tried really hard to score a goal until the final whistle."
Hamidin also praised Rajagopal’s action to substitute players at half time so that more players would have a chance to be involved in the game.
Malaysia were held to a goalless draw on Tuesday night and this result has attracted many critics who say that the national team is no longer a team that people should be afraid of.
