Shahidan happy with Azzuddin's AFF move

Former PFA president, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, is glad that Datuk Azzuddin has moved to FAM and believed that FAM can be better without him
Former Perlis Football Association (PFA) President, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, sees Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad's resignation as Secretary-general of  the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) is a good chance for the association to become better than before.

Commenting on media reports regarding Azzuddin's new post as Asian Football Federation's Secretary-generalm Shahidan said that he is not convinced that it was due to his good performance in FAM.

Speaking to Sinar Harian, Shahidan said: "Before this, Azzuddin has made FAM chaotic in many ways.

"In the end, many credible individuals have been victims of Article 88, despite their efforts in making football in this country even better."

Referring to the Azzuddin's support for Article 88, Shahidan hoped that the new candidtate joining the FAM is responsible enough and is someone that everyone can accept.

However, Shahidan voiced his respect over Sultan Ahmad Shah's decision to maintain Article 88 because he feels that it is still relevant in keeping FAM's integrity.
