After their recent successful tour in Australia, Harimau Muda are now on their travels again, leaving for Myanmar tomorrow (Thursday).
This friendly is another match that aims to help the team prepare for the SEA Games scheduled to take place, also in Myanmar, in December.
Only 18 players will be leaving for this trip and according to coach Ong Kim Swee, he will use this game as a chance to give his new players some experience in international matches.
Speaking to Utusan Malaysia, Ong Kim Swee said: “I will only bring Harimau Muda players. Some of them are still new and have no international match experience, but i still have faith in them because through this match, I want to see how well they play with each other.
“Another reason I do not want to call other players because I don't want to disturb their preparation for their league matches,” added Ong Kim Swee.
