Mark Hughes' side, run by Malaysian Tony Fernandes, will face a series of friendly matches against the likes of Sabah XI, Kelantan FA and Persebaya Surabaya

QPR have announced their 12-day Asian pre-season tour of South-East Asia's neighbouring countries Malaysia and Indonesia.

The Hoops will start their visit with a trip to Malaysia, where they are scheduled to play against Sabah XI on July 13 and Kelantan FA on July 20, before continue their tour to Indonesia to face Persebaya Surabaya three days later.

The details of the Asian tour has been confirmed by QPR Chief Executive Officer Philip Beard on the club's official site.

"It is an honour for Queens Park Rangers to come and play in Malaysia and Indonesia next month," he said.

"Everyone at the club is extremely excited by the tour, and we hope it allows as many of our fans as possible in Asia to watch the team in action.

"We will be working closely with our main sponsors, Air Asia, and our other partners in the region to ensure we can deliver our best ever pre-season tour."

Previously, Beard stated that Thailand would be one of the destinations as part of the tour but cancelled after failing to reach an agreement.

"We had hoped to play a game in Bangkok as part of our pre-season schedule but were unable to agree acceptable terms. We sincerely hope to be play a game in Thailand in the very near future."
