thumbnail Hello,

Goal.com rounds up all the exciting action from Wednesday's fourth matchday of the Asian Champions League fixtures as they happen all around the continent...

Adelaide United 1-0 Pohang Steelers
Adelaide United moved three points clear in Group E after Bruce Djite's late strike earned them the victory over Korean outfit Pohang.

There were few genuine chances throughout the match, although the Steelers looked the better side, controlling possession and looking dangerous when in attack, but it was the Reds who claimed the win. Brazilian left-back Cassio whipped in a fine cross which Djite beat Zoran Rendulic to, to head into the top corner for the dramatic winner.

Nagoya Grampus 0-0 Tianjin Teda
Nagoya missed the chance to move well clear in Group G after being held to a goalless draw with Chinese FA Cup winners Tianjin Teda.

The Chinese side could've taken a surprise lead in the clash when Dutch striker Sjoerd Ars volleyed a shot onto the bar late in the first-half. However, Nagoya had their clash from the spot after a dubious penalty award, but Keiji Tamada kicked it away.

Seongnam Ilhwa 5-0 Central Coast
A-League premiers Central Coast's bad week continued after a 5-0 hammering away to Korean outfit Seongnam Ilhwa.

After a fairly even opening half hour, the Koreans were ruthless, with Heverton combining with Lee Chang-Hoon for a 39th-minute opener, before the impressive Everton Santos volleyed home a second on the stroke of half-time.

Kim Sung-Hwan made it 3-0 from a difficult angle on 70 minutes, before Everton Santos converted a spotkick three minutes later. The Brazilian broke down the right flank to set up Vladimir Jovancic for a fifth on 84 minutes to cap a big win.

Bunyodkor 3-2 Gamba Osaka
Uzbek champions Bunyodkor has boosted their chances of progressing to the final 16, while severely denting Gamba Osaka's, after a 3-2 victory in Tashkent.

Kamoliddin Murzoev opened the scoring after quarter of an hour, before Takahiro Futagawa combined with Shu Kurata who levelled on 20 minutes. Lutfulla Turayev, who had a hand in the first goal, would put Bunyodkor ahead before the break.

Gamba had their chances to respond but Anvarjon Soliev put the result beyond doubt with a goal on 85 minutes. Substitute Hiroyuki Abe grabbed a 94th-minute consolation for the Japanese side.
Nasaf Qarshi 0-1 Al Rayyan
Al Rayyan moved into second spot in Group A after Rodrigo Tabata's sublime 62nd-minute free-kick proved the difference in Uzbekistan.

The Qataris had the better opportunities throughout the game, with Fabio Cesar, Daniel Goma and Tabata wasting first-half chances. The Brazilian midfielder would decide the game just past the hour mark, when he fired home a sensational 40-metre free-kick.
Al Jazira 1-1 Esteghlal
UAE champions Al Jazira became the first team to seal their spot in the final 16 after a 1-1 home draw with Esteghlal.

The Iranians went ahead on 24 minutes when Ferydoon Zandi cut back for Arash Borhani to fire home with a near-post finish. Al Jazira striker Ricardo Oliveira spurned a chance to level right before the break, but made no mistake with a header from Matias Delgado's corner on 64 minutes.
Lekhwiya 1-0 Sepahan
Bakari Kone scored a stoppage-time winner to help Lekhwiya avenge their last-gasp loss to Sepahan and boost their hopes of progressing through Group C.

Lekhwiya's South Korean midfielder Nam Tae-Hee forced saves from Rahman Ahmadi in each half, while Bruno Correa had Sepahan's best chance with five minutes to play, only to be thwarted by Baba Malick. And deep into stoppage-time, Kone worked a one-two with Mohammed Razak before firing home the winner.

Al Ahli 3-1 Al Nasr
Saudi Arabian outfit Al Ahli moved into top spot in Group C with a come-from-behind victory over Walter Zenga's Al Nasr.

Al Nasr had gone into the break with a one-goal lead after Amara Diane headed home Mohamed Ali Abdulla's 33rd-minute free-kick. However the Saudi Arabian side hit back in the second 45.

Abdulrahim Jaizawi levelled with a spectacular drive on 55 minutes, before star striker Victor Simoes scored with a pinpoint header from Marcelo Camacho's cross 11 minutes later. Kamil Al Mousa sealed the win on 73 minutes when he glanced home Camacho's set-piece.
