Nii Plange makes Guimaraes squad for Europa League

The Ghanaian-born Burkina Faso striker is set for his debut this evening whilst Addy fails a fitness test

Ghanaian-born Burkina Faso international striker Nii Adamah Plange is likely to make his Vitoria Guimaraes Europa League debut tonight after making the final squad for the game against Rijeka.

The 23-year-old forward who was signed from Sporting Lisbon just this summer was the only surprise inclusion of the squad named by coach Rui Vitoria to face the Croatian side tonight.

Also in the squad is Niger forward Moussa Maazou signed this summer from Etoile Du Sahel.

Ghanaian left-back David Addy could not however pass the late fitness test and is out of the game after his injury against Rio Ave on Sunday.

His place has been taken by Luis Rocha who was also signed this summer.
