Flores suffered a thigh injury which has kept him out of the Swans' last two friendlies, while Amat suffered a shoulder injury in their 2-0 friendly win at Exeter City.

However, manager Michael Laudrup has confirmed that both will be fit for the start of their European campaign, after qualifying for the tournament through last season's Capital One cup success.

Laudrup told reporters: "We will have all four centre-backs back again for the start of the Europa League.

"I hope Chico is back in training on Thursday. Amat came into the game with a shoulder injury after picking up a knock the other day [against Exeter].

"He wanted to play like everyone else, so he had 45 minutes, but he was not 100 per cent. But I think he will be okay."
