The 2012 Suzuki Cup and 2013 Malaysia Super League winner has been told he will be 'rested' for the rest of the season and the decision has been criticised by fansSingapore international Baihakki Khaizan confirmed over the weekend that he will no longer be a part of the Johor Darul Takzim team and will not again play for the rest of the season.
The news did not sit well with fans from Singapore and in Malaysia, with many unhappy that a championship winning defender at club and international level has been forced out of the team.
JDT President Tunku Ismail Idris then took to Facebook to explain the decision, and the Crown Prince of Johor stated that a lack of experience and physical presence meant Baihakki was not good enough for the team.
