Mile Jedinak played the full game as Crystal Palace recorded an important 3-0 win away to relegation-threatened Cardiff City in the English Premier League.

In the Championship, Lucas Neill completed 90 minutes for Doncaster Rovers as they gave up an early lead to lose 3-1 at home to relegation rivals Birmingham City.

Scott McDonald came on in the second half for Millwall as they won 2-1 away to Nottingham Forest.

In the Scottish Premiership, Jackson Irvine played the full game for Kilmarnock, as they lost 2-1 at home to St Johnstone. Dylan McGowan also saw out 90 minutes for Hearts in a 4-2 win away to Partick Thistle.

Europe

It was a busy weekend the Australians based in Germany - Mitch Langerak played for Borussia Dortmund as they defeated Wolfsburg 2-1 at home, while in the 2. Bundesliga Ben Halloran opened the scoring before being withdrawn in the second half as Fortuna Dusseldorf defeated Paderborn 2-1 away.

Mathew Leckie started and finished the game and Nikita Rukavytsya came on for FSV Frankfurt in their 2-1 loss at Aalen.

Mat Ryan endured a disappointing outing for Club Brugge, as they went down 3-0 away to Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League playoffs.

It was a similar story in the Eredivisie, with Adam Sarota starting for Utrecht and being taken off with 20 minutes remaining in a 4-1 loss at ADO.  

Dario Vidosic lasted until the 83rd minute for Sion in a 1-0 Swiss Super League win at Lausanne, while Oliver Bozanic came on for the last two minutes of Luzern's 2-1 loss at Young Boys.

Asia

Ryan McGowan played the full game as his Shandong Luneng team defeated Shanghai Shenxin 1-0 away from home in the Chinese Super League. Jonas Salley started and finished a 2-1 loss for Guizhou Renhe away to Hangzhou.

Daniel McBreen was withdrawn with nine minutes remaining as Shanghai SIPG went down 1-0 at Henan Jianye. And Adam Hughes was powerless to prevent his Harbin Yiteng from losing 3-0 at Liaoning Whowin.

In the K-League, Aleksandar Jovanovic played the full game for Jeju United in a 1-0 win at Sangju Sangmu. Alex Wilkinson started and finished the game for Jeonbuk Motors as they earned a point in a 1-1 draw at FC Seoul.

There was little joy to be had the J-League-based Australians - Josh Kennedy scored twice for Nagoya Grampus, but the goals came in a 5-2 loss at home to Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Mitch Nichols came on for the last minute of Cerezo Osaka's 2-1 loss at Kashiwa Reysol, while the Vegalta Sendai side coached by Graham Arnold remain second from bottom after losing 4-0 at Urawa Reds.

In the Qatar Stars League, Mark Bresciano played until the 81st minute of Al Gharafa's 2-1 loss at home to Al Arabi.

Brett Holman set up the first goal for Al Nasr in a 2-1 victory away to Al Wasl in the United Arab Emirates. Alex Brosque picked up a yellow card as his Al Ain side defeated Bani Yas by the same scoreline.
