thumbnail Hello,

The Mpumalanga-born attacker, who returned to Sweden to sign with IFK Gotenborg this year, is enjoying his football again, and he will be involved in the Swedish Cup quarterfinals

Steven Pienaar will miss Everton's league match at home against Swansea City on Saturday afternoon due to an injury. The former Tottenham Spur midfielder suffered a knee injury during a training session earlier this week, and the club has since confirmed that the 32-year-old player will be out for up to three weeks.

Pienaar's injury is a huge blow to Everton's dream of playing European football next season, but Roberto Martinez said that they will cope without the South African-born midfielder.

Kagisho Dikgacoi will travel with Crystal Palace to St. James' Park to face Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon. 'KG' is one solid midfielder, who is known for his tough tackles, and his experience will be vital against the likes Cheik Tiote and Shola Ameobi.

Palace are three points off the relegation zone and they could climb up to 13th on the log with victory over Allan Pardew's side that is struggling with results this season.

In the Championship, AFC Bournemouth will square off against Barnsley on Saturday, as they look to bounce back from their Tuesday's disappointment at Charlton Athletic and Tokelo Rantie is expected to feature once more, although he has lately been used as an impact player.

Andrew Surman is also expected to play, as he has been one of the consistent performers in Bournemouth's team. Bournemouth are currently 12th in the standings with 46 points from 36 games.

Doncaster Rovers are still without defender Bongani Khumalo, who is still nursing a knee injury, but Dean Furman is available for selection against Sherfield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon.

In League One division, Kgosi Ntlhe's Peterborough United will visit Rotherham on Saturday as they look to continue climbing the log. They are currently sixth with 58 points from 36 games.

Following his recovery from a long term injury, Kamohelo Mokotjo is expected to be among the starters when PEC Zwolle's visit of AZ Alkmaar on Sunday afternoon. Despite lacking match fitness during his return last weekend, Mokotjo played his heart out and will soon be back to his best.

The two teams - Alkmaar and Zwolle - are doing well in the Eredivisie this term and Mokotjo's side could overtake their opponents should they get all three points this weekend.

Thulani Serero will not be in action this weekend due to Ajax Amsterdam's non-involvement in the league. The defending champions are still top of the log with six games to go.

South African defender Siyanda Xulu should be in the starting line-up when FC Rostov welcome Amkar in a league encounter tonight (Friday). Rostov are eighth on the log, and they are definitely looking to end the season in a respectable position.

Xulu has been a regular starter in the team, and he will be hoping to keep working hard to enhance his chances in the Bafana Bafana squad with the 2015 Afcon qualifiers round the corner.

May Mahlangu will be hoping to feature once more when IFK Gotenborg host Sirius in a Swedish Cup encounter on Saturday afternoon. Mahlangu's team finished top of the Group 2 mini league and are favourites to lift this year's trophy.

The Bafana midfielder has a huge chance of facing his former employers Helsingborg in the next round of this competition. The 24-year-old Secunda-born player left Helsingborg last year, but returned to Sweden earlier this year to sign with Gotenborg.
