The Bruneian side have enjoyed a perfect record so far, winning all three of their opening games and impressing everyone in the new 2014 season
The Wasps have won all three of their opening matches with some degree of comfort, scoring six goals and conceding none as they beat Albirex Niigata 1-0, Warriors FC 2-0 and Home United 3-0. The last one was particularly impressive, as the Protectors had been touted to challenge for the title this season.
New boss Steve Kean has certainly enjoyed the winning start, saying after their first victory that his team was targeting the S.League title as well as the Singapore Cup, having finished only eighth last season in a disappointing campaign under Vjeran Simunic.
The majority of Goal Singapore readers believe that DPMM are serious title contenders, with 76.6% indicating that they have been impressive so far and look like they mean business. The front attacking trio of Joe Gamble, Rodrigo Tosi and Roy O'Donovan look like they can be a handful for even the best of defences, with the latter two accounting for five goals already so far.
However, the remaining 23.4% believe that it is still early days in the league and the likes of Home and Tampines Rovers are still very much in with a chance.
DPMM will next entertain Tampines on Sunday at home.
