The Shortlist

ASAMOAH GYAN - AL AIN

The Ghana captain netted a brace for Al Ain in their last league match against Dubai on Thursday night which ended 3-0. Gyan scored in the 17th and 49th minutes to take his goal tally to 18. As usual, he is comfortably leading the top scorers chart in the Arabian Gulf League.

KWABENA ADUSEI – ASANTE KOTOKO

The Kotoko defender has now established himself as a penalty expert in Ghana. After converting two penalties for the Black Stars at the CHAN tournament, the 26-year-old saved the blushes of Kotoko from the spot last Sunday. He scored two penalties to hand Kotoko a 2-1 win over Liberia’s BYC in the first leg of a preliminary Caf Champions League encounter.

EMMANUEL AGYEMANG-BADU - UDINESE

The Ghana midfielder scored the third goal as Udinese posted a 3-0 victory over Chievo Verona in the Italian Serie A. The former Asante Kotoko player has found his form after a quiet campaign at club level last season.
