After the Merseyside derby, another big clash is in store this midweek as the two Premier League heavyweights go head to head
Neutrals will be hoping that the game between Tottenham and Manchester City is a more exciting and even affiar, with both teams certainly having the potential to serve up a spectacle.
Manuel Pellegrini's City boys are in red-hot form at the moment, with seven consecutive league victories as they push hard for the title. With Arsenal dropping points in a 2-2 draw against Southampton earlier on Wednesday morning, City can overtake them at the top of the table with victory.
While City will not be short on motivation, Spurs have done relatively well under new boss Tim Sherwood. They have won their last four league games and have not been beaten under Sherwood, and will be confident of a good showing at home as they seek revenge for a 6-0 thrashing in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
The majority of Goal Singapore readers have tipped City to win, however, with 58.2% believing that they can extend their unbeaten streak to 20 in all competitions. A further 27.9% predicted Spurs to win, with the rest stating that it will end in a draw.
The game between Spurs and City will kick off at 3.45a.m on Thursday morning, Singapore time.
