Goal Singapore readers tip LionsXII to beat JDT

The defending Malaysia Super League champions face a daunting task to Larkin to take on Pablo Aimar and company
The tough start to the 2014 Malaysia Super League continues for the LionsXII. Having dueled with Pahang FA and Selangor FA in their first two games, the defending champions now take on Johor Darul Takzim next on Tuesday.

The late, late win on Saturday over the Red Giants at Jalan Besar Stadium gave new coach Fandi Ahmad his first points of the season and he will hope the momentum and morale boost lingers long enough for the trip to Larkin.

Pablo Aimar and company suffered a shock 1-0 loss to T-Team over the weekend on their travels, but they will be keen to bounce back with victory at home. With a squad packed with Malaysian internationals, as well as Singapore stars Baihakki Khaizan and Hariss Harun, Cesar Jimenez will be confident his team can recover.

Despite the tough task awaiting the LionsXII, Goal Singapore readers have largely displayed optimism when it came to predicting the result. A majority 58.5% have tipped Fandi's charges to emerge victorious, with 18.9% predicting a draw and the remaining 22.6% a defeat.

The match between JDT and LionsXII will kick off on Tuesday, 8.45p.m and you can follow all the action LIVE here on Goal Singapore!
