Keet produced a man of the match performance to help Kortrijk pick up their first three points of the year

BELGIUM

South Africa and KV Kortrjik goalkeeper Darren Keet produced a number of great saves as his side narrowly beat Gent 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Keet (24) ensured that he resumes the second half of the season with a cleansheet, as he stood firm between the sticks. Kotrijk are now 7th on the log with 29 points from 21 games.

Ayanda Patosi missed KSC Lokeren's 3-0 win over Cercle Brugge on Saturday. Lokeren is currently fifth on the Belgian Jupiler League log.

Anele Ngcongca's Racing Genk will be in action away to Waregem later this afternoon, as they look to start 2014 with a bang.

ENGLAND

Kagisho Dikgacoi was not part of the Crystal Palace team that recorded a massive 1-0 win over Stoke City 1-0 on Saturday.

The Eagles bounced back in style from their last weekend's loss to Tottenham, and are now off the bottom of the table and up to 16th on the EPL log.

In the Championship, Tokelo Rantie came on in the 78th minute to replace another South African Andrew Surman, but Rantie couldn't find the back of the net as Bournemouth were held 1-1 by Watford at home.

Bongani Khumalo played the entire 90 as Doncaster Rovers recorded their biggest victory of 2014 over Wigan Athletic. The match ended 3-0 to Rovers.

Dean Furman replaced Paul Keegan with 12 minutes remaining on the clock, and he dictated the Rovers' midfield in a comfortable win.

In the League One division, Kgosi Ntlhe replaced Michael Bostwick before start of the second half, as Peterborough United hammered Tranmere Rovers 3-0 on Saturday.

NETHERLANDS

Kamohelo Mokotjo endured a difficult weekend and despite playing the entire match, the South African midfielder couldn't help PEC Zwolle avoid defeat against Vitesse.

Zwolle conceded a late goal to lose 2-1 at home, after Guyon Fernandez's 10th-minute strike had cancelled Christian Atsu's early goal.
