It was a night to remember for Carlos Vela when he struck an incredible four goals to help Real Sociedad edge Celta Vigo 4-3 on Saturday.
The Mexican striker opened the scoring, before netting a further three times to help his team overcome a 3-1 deficit and move into the top six of the La Liga.
His impressive display of goalscoring sparked debate as to whether Arsenal, who reportedly inserted a buy-back clause when they sold him, should bring him back to the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger's men have appeared to be in need of a striker at times this season despite their fine form, with Olivier Giroud having to do it alone most of the time.
But a majority of Goal Singapore readers are adamant that Vela is not an option for them, with 53.1% believing that the 24-year-old is not good enough. Instead, they feel that while there is a need to sign another forward, Arsenal should look towards better targets.
A further 14.6% believe that Wenger does not need extra firepower at all, while the remaing 32.3% do feel that Vela is a viable option and that the club should make a move in January.
Vela has seven goals in 16 appearances for Sociedad this season, where he moved to in July 2012 after seven years with Arsenal. The Mexican international was loaned out to Salamanca, Osasuna, West Brom and Sociedad during his time with the Gunners, eventually deciding to stay in Spain.
