There were quite a few moments of brilliance from English Premier League matches on Saturday night, as well as the EL Clasico, such was the quality on show.
In the end, Alexis Sanchez's stunning strike for Barcelona proved the most memorable of them all, with 28.6% of Goal Singapore readers voting it to be the best moment of the night.
Running on to a long ball, the Chilean winger beat Raphael Varane to it before checking back inside the Real Madrid defender near the edge of the penalty area. A quick shuffle of his feet then got the ball on to his right foot, before he looked up, saw goalkeeper Diego Lopez coming off his line, and promptly floated a beautiful chip that dipped perfectly into the back of the net.
That was the second goal of the game for Barcelona and eventually turned out to be the winner in a 2-1 result, after Jese Rodriguez pulled one back late on for the away side.
Sanchez's goal edged Javier Hernandez's winner, which capped off Manchester United's fightback from 2-1 down to beat Stoke City 3-2 at home, after Wayne Rooney had equalised just two minutes earlier. The Mexican's goal garnered 26.2%, with Luis Suarez's thumping header from the edge of the box coming in third with 20.6% of the votes.
With beautiful moments like these every weekend, it is no wonder so many call football the Beautiful Game.
