Manager Andre Villas-Boas deserves as many accolades as Gareth Bale for Tottenham Hotspur’s climb to third spot, according to former England defender Paul Parker. Parker says that Spurs have gone forward since AVB took over from Harry Redknapp – and will retain Welsh flyer Bale for next season despite considerable continental interest.
