Albirex returned to winning ways after a late winner Hougang but will be severely tested by a resurgent Tampines Rovers. After a slow start to the season, the Stags are unbeaten in 5 league games winning the last 3 on a trot. Talisman Aleksandar Duric's continued goal-scoring streak has been the main reason for the revival and coach Steven Tan will be hoping he finds the net.

Albirex bounced back from their run of 4 tough matches with a win at Hougang but might struggle against the experienced Tampines side. Despite being mentioned as title challengers, Albirex have failed to live up to expectations and will be keen to prove the critics wrong as they host the Stags.

The tie of the week sees Home United host league leaders Brunei DPMM!

DPMM remain the only unbeaten side in the league and have a 2 point lead at the top of the table but will face a tough test against the Protectors who have a week's rest.

Home United were impressive in their 3-1 victory over Yangon United in the AFC Cup and will be looking for a good showing. Home will look to their forward trio of Shi Jiayi, Federic Mendy and Qui Li to deal the damage agains the visiting Bruneians.

DPMM will be relying on the experience of Rodrigo Grahl and the pace and trickery of Basiru Osman to deal the damage againt the Protectors. Fan can expect a footballing treat!

Balestier Khalsa
1-2 Harimau Muda
Both teams come into this game with victories and fans can expect a lively attacking affair.

Coach Darren Stewart urged his team to stay focus and not get carried away after victory against the Warriors and knows that his team will have to be at their best to stop the impressive Harimau Muda side. Despite being high on morale, the Balestier side will have their work cut out when the take on the formidable Malaysian side whose pace and stamina will pose problems.

Harimau Muda bounced back from their defeat to the Protectors with a 2-1 victory over the Rams and will be keen to continue their climb up the table. Harimau have had to adapt their game with teams setting out their stall to defend against them. Coach Ong Kim Swee will be delighted with the patience of his team that helped them net the winner and will be looking for more of the same against Balestier.

Tanjong Pagar

The Jaguars displayed spirit in their 3-2 defeat to league leaders DPMM in their last outing and will be looking to build on their strong second-half performance in which they scored 2 goals.

Tanjong Pagar will be looking to Takaya Kawanabe, who leads his team with 4 goals, to deal the damage on the visiting Lions. Coach Terry Pathmanathan will be hoping his fans turn out in numbers at the Queesntown Stadium to back his team.

The Lions come into this game on the back of 2 defeats and have struggled all season due to inexperience. Coach Robin Chitrakar has been confident that his boys can turn around the results but the performances have yet to reflect that. Jaguars to just nick this!

Singapore Armed Forces 1-1 Hougang United
The Warriors are on a poor run of form, picking up just one point from 3 matches and will be looking to rediscover their form when they take on Hougang United. Coach Richard Bok will have spent the week instilling confidence and morale in his players after a poor run and will be looking for a strong performance from his players. The Warriors will need forwards Mislav Karoglan and Fazrul Nawaz to find their scoring boots if they are to prevail.

Hougang United were unlucky to lose at Albirex 2-1 after conceding an injury time winner. Hougang come into this game on the back of 2 defeats and will also be looking to stop the rot. Forward Jordan Webb who has scored 6 goals so far will be keen to continue his fine form against the leaky Warriors defence. Expect a cagey affair at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium!

Geylang United

Gombak United were cruelly defeated 3-2 by a second half Tampines comeback and will be looking to bounce back when they take on the Eagles. Gombak were in command of that match but came undone after 3 second-half goals cost them victory. 

Geylang come into this game on a high after recording a 2-0 victory against the Young Lions. The Eagles took advantage of set-pieces to defeat the Lions and will be boosted by that victory. Defender Jozef Kapláň has been in fine form bagging 4 goals thus far and will to be watched closely on set-pieces.

Both teams will be looking for the points and this might just end as a draw!
