thumbnail Hello,

Sabah and Sarawak will be facing each other after a two year break, while V.Sundramoorthy will be leading his LionsXII against yet another of his former clubs

T-Team proved to be the surprise package in the first round while the festivity surrounding the return of the LionsXII was dampened by the league champions, but you can expect more from both teams this Saturday.

Kelantan FA
3-0
PKNS FA

Defying the odds by beating Singapore, Kelantan will surely take this opportunity to win in their home soil. PKNS who were defeated by Johor FC last Tuesday, will not have any foreign players in their side and will rely heavily on local talent. Kelantan look strong for this tie and expect, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha and Mohammed Ghaddar to terrorise the PKNS defence led by skipper, Mohd Fadhil Hashim.

Selangor FA
2-1
Perak FA

Selangor didn’t get off to a good start as they had to come from behind to snatch a draw against Negeri Sembilan. Selangor coach Irfan Bakti Abu Salim has already turned the heat up on his players by urging them to step up to the plate. Perak meanwhile, will be relying on the Michal Kubala and Lazar Popovic combination as both of them proved to be the difference against Terengganu on Tuesday. However, Selangor will be eager to bounce back and claim a win.

Kedah FA
1-1
  LionsXII

V.Sundramoorthy, who used to be a legend for Kedah in the 1990s, will want his side to bounce back from their home defeat against Kelantan. Kedah, who were surprisingly beaten by T Team last Tuesday, will be relying on home support to boost heir confidence but will be without inspirational playmaker, Baddrol Bakhtiar. The wounded Lions will be looking to pounce in his absence to claim their first point.

Kuala Lumpur FA
1-4
T-Team

T Team will be travelling to Kuala Lumpur with much needed confidence. Thrashing Kedah in their first game, Yunus Alif is looking for his second consecutive win. The local players will play key roles in this game and expect Zachariah Simukonda to bang in the goals against the weak Kuala Lumpur side. Razip Ismail’s side looked clueless against Sarawak and he needs his team to regroup for this tie. However, Kuala Lumpur look likely to be the next whipping boys for T Team.

Sabah FA
2-0
Sarawak FA

After two seasons, the Borneo derby is back. Sarawak will travel to Kota Kinabalu to face the Rhinos. Sabah, who lost against Felda amidst controversial circumstances, will be looking to cheer up their home fans. Their opponents meanwhile, are in a buoyant mood after defeating Kuala Lumpur in Kuching. However, Sabah looks stronger for this tie and will clinch a decisive victory.

 Terengganu FA
1-1
  Felda United

A David against Goliath match-up. Terengganu, the reigning FA Cup champions will want to get the three points from this tie. Having lost against Perak, expect the likes of Joseph Kalang Tie and Ismail Faruqi Asha'ri to bounce back and terrorise the Felda defence. Felda who started their campaign on the right foot will look to snatch the points but will have a tough prospect against Terengganu.
Johor FC
2-2
Negeri Sembilan FA

Coming back to the JCorp Stadium, K.Devan will be looking for his second win this season. However, facing his former team will be no easy feat. Negeri Sembilan will be relying on their only foreign player, Effa Owona, who has been sensational so far, but know he will be a constant menace to the Johor FC defence. Regardless, K.Devan will have a few surprises of his own. This should be an exciting encounter as two of the nations best coaches face-off for bragging supremacy.
