I hope Cristiano Ronaldo scores another own goal, says El Arabi

The Granada attacker would like to see the Portuguese superstar put through his own net again when their respective clubs meet on Monday, just as he did last season
Granada attacker Youssef El Arabi hopes Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo will score another own goal in the upcoming La Liga encounter between the two sides.

The Portugal forward gifted the Andalusians a shock 1-0 win at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes in February when he beat his own goalkeeper with a header that flew into the back of the net.

Unsurprisingly, El Arabi would love to see Ronaldo net again at the wrong end in Monday's match.

"I hope that Cristiano Ronaldo scores another own goal," the Morocco international told AS when reminded about last year's encounter.

"Real Madrid are a great team and they have a lot of strong individual players.

"However, we hope to get a draw or even win the game."

Madrid recorded a 2-1 win over Betis in their Liga opener last weekend, while Granada beat Osasuna by the same scoreline.
