Real Betis midfielder Jose Canas is disappointed with the way he has been treated by the Spanish club's fans after it emerged he would join Swansea upon the expiry of his contract, according to his agent.
Goal.com exclusively revealed back in April that Canas would move to the Liberty Stadium after refusing to sign a contract extension with the Liga club.
The 25-year-old has played for Verdiblancos since 2004, featuring in over 150 games for both the first team and the B side.
"Jose has done very well this season, even though he is leaving," Alvaro Torres told The Sun. "He wanted the club to receive money for him but that was not possible.
"Jose has given Real Betis everything but maybe the fans don't understand that."
