The La Liga side's president says Saturday’s loss at Santiago Bernabeu was nothing worse than points dropped, adding the club are looking ahead to the next game against Deportivo
Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Mesut Ozil were enough to give Jose Mourinho’s side the victory at Santiago Bernabeu, but Cerezo has said Diego Simeone’s men have moved on from the defeat and are concentrating on the visit of Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday.
“A party is a party and the three points in this case went to Real Madrid but ultimately they are just three points,” Cerezo told reporters.
“What awaits us now is Deportivo La Coruna. We'll hope to play a good game, win and keep our run in the league going. We have done very well so far.
“The derby was not a particularly hard derby, it was normal. There was no good play [from either side] in the first half and Madrid played better in the second half, but nothing more."
The win meant Los Blancos closed the gap on their fierce local rivals to five points in La Liga.
